GALASSI, Italo - After a valiant struggle, Italo passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at the age of 83. He joins his beloved wife Diana (predeceased January 2011). Dear father of Gary, Robert and Sandra. Cherished Nonno of Kristofer, Zachary and his little "Angel" Jacqueline. Brother of Gildo (predeceased), Nives (predeceased) and Giorgio. Italo will be missed by Albert (Lori), Vittoria and Wanda and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church 8500 Islington Ave., Woodbridge on Friday, March 2, 2012.
