Italia Marino

Marino, Rose (nee Cipollone) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on November 3rd, 2011.

Enthusiastic, brilliant and gracious during her life, the loss we feel is as large as the life she lived. She lived courageously, led by example and left each of us who knew her richer for the experience. Rose’s warmth, engaging wit and incredible generosity will forever be in our memory.

As a wife, mother, daughter, daughter in-law, sister, sister in-law, aunt and friend, she touched many with her laughter, determination and courage.
Rose will be greatly missed by her devoted husband Nick, her adoring children Anthony and Mackenzie, her father Pasquale, and her extended family. Rose is predeceased by her mother, Rosina Cipollone, and her in-laws, Antonio & Antonietta Marino.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Sunil Verma of the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital, for his exceptional care and devotion.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel, 4671 Hwy 7, 905-851-9100, on Saturday November 5th & Sunday November 6th, from 2-4 & 6-9pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 150 St. Francis Ave, Woodbridge on Monday November 7th, 2011 at 10:00am. Private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be may be made to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.
