Peacefully, on May 6 with her family by her side, Isabella Scott Manser in her 107th year passed away at Oakcrossing LTC in London, Ontario. Prior to entering LTC, Isabella lived for 6 years with her daughter Anne Soutar in Byron, Ontario.

Isabella was predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years, Vern Manser. Isabella was the loving mother of Ray (Lynne) Manser, Anne (Brian) Soutar, John (Jackie) Manser, and Bruce (Fern) Manser. She was a dearly loved grandmother to Jennifer Soutar, David Manser, Rob (Kim) Soutar, Donald Manser, Laurie (Mike) Wozniak, and Christine (Spencer) Manser. Isabella was also a proud great grandmother of Jayden, Grace, and Hattie Manser and John and Tyler Wozniak.

Isabella was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. She immigrated to Canada in 1945 as a war bride and settled in Brampton, Ontario where she remained for many years. She had a remarkable career with the Peel Board of Education as a head secretary. Her many interests included her volunteer work with the hospital auxiliary, spending time at her cottage in Parry Sound, oil painting, knitting, gardening, baking her famous Scottish Shortbread and cheering on her favourite sports teams the "Toronto Maple Leafs" and the "Toronto Blue Jays".

She led a remarkable long and happy life and will be greatly cherished and missed by all.

The family would like to thank the staff at Oakcrossing LTC for their dedicated, kind, and compassionate care. We would also like to thank the many PSW's from the LHIN who also provided dedicated care at her home in Byron, Ontario.
