In Loving Memory of Isabel Torres June 29, 1954 – May 30, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Isabel Torres on May 30, 2026, at the age of 71, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Isabel was the beloved wife of Luis and a devoted mother to her daughters, Alicia (Javier) Morales and Cristina (Leonardo) Moura. She was a proud and loving grandmother to six treasured grandchildren: Giselle, Maximiliano, Nicolas, Fabian, Melina, and Natalie, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. She is also survived by her loving mother, Blanca Fajardo; her sister, Alicia Lupallier, and her family; along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit. Isabel was predeceased by her beloved son, Carlos, with whom she is now reunited in eternal peace. While their loss leaves an immeasurable void, comfort is found in the thought of their reunion. Born on June 29, 1954, in Uruguay, Isabel lived a life defined by strength, compassion, dedication, and unwavering love for her family. She pursued a career as a dentist in her homeland, where she was respected for her professionalism and commitment to caring for others. In 1982, Isabel and her family made the journey to Canada, embracing new opportunities and building a life filled with cherished friendships, hard work, and countless memories. Throughout her life, she remained proud of her Uruguayan roots while wholeheartedly embracing her adopted home. Inspired by the health challenges faced by her beloved son, Carlos, Isabel dedicated herself to serving children with special needs. She became a school bus driver, a role she embraced with patience, kindness, and genuine care. The students and families she served held a special place in her heart, and she took great pride in helping them safely and comfortably reach their destinations each day. Those who knew Isabel will remember her for her resilience, her caring heart, her dedication to her family, and her ability to bring comfort and strength to those around her. Her legacy of love, perseverance, and devotion will live on through all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
