Redgrave, Isabel Joyce ( nee Stephens)

Peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2012 in her 93rd year. Beloved and devoted wife of Sidney for 67 years. Much loved mother of Phyllis (Richard) Hunwicks and Joyce (Richard) Pake. Proud Grandmother of Steven (Anna) Hunwicks, Jonathan Hunwicks, Robert Pake and David (Nala) Pake. Loving Great Gran to Adam Hunwicks. Dear sister of Gladys Ratcliff. Doting “Auntie Belle” to Wendy Ratcliff-Lake (Jim Lake) and their children Jamie and Alana and to Allan Ratcliff (Maggie Temchuk). Isabel was a proud Canadian, a lifelong member of the Anglican Church and an active long time resident of Weston and Etobicoke. Her career as an elementary teacher began in 1939 and she retired from H.J. Alexander Public School in Weston. She was a loyal member of the Daughters of the Nile. Along with Sid, she enjoyed numerous trips abroad as well as countless camping adventures.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 11a.m until the time of service in the Chapel at 12 noon.
