Irene Cheval

Peacefully on Thursday December 20th, 2012 at the age of 76, with her daughter by her side. Irene was born April 9, 1936 in Kahnawake, Quebec to John & Marion Phillips (nee Patton). Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Ronald Matthew Cheval, married November 28, 1959. Loving mother of Diane (Randy Duford) of Oklahoma and David of Etobicoke. Cherished grandma of Shane, Macy, and Madison, also of Oklahoma. Predeceased by her parents John and Marion, her husband Ronald, and by her 6 siblings, Tommy, Wallace, Angus, George, Lily (Kane) and Mabel (Deere). Irene will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, her many caring in-laws and their families, and by her large spiritual family she loved so dearly. She was loving, attentive, humorous and positive up until her dying day. Her hope in Jehovah remained strong despite all obstacles. She endured faithful to the end. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5 Maple Leaf Drive, Toronto.
