Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Humber River Regional Hospital – Finch Site on August 14, 2010 in her 87th year. She is predeceased by her husband Milan. She will be sadly missed by her son Mick (Heather) and grandson Sean. She will be fondly remembered by many other loving family and friends. Cremation has taken place.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Saturday August 21, 2010 from 12-1p.m. A Celebration of Irena’s life will be held in the chapel at 1 p.m. Expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
