IOLANDA DAROLFI (CAPPELLA)

September 9, 1927 - March 7, 2013

Peacefully, in her home, on Thursday, March 7th at the age of 85. Devoted wife of the late Cataldo. Loving mother of Anna (Dante) Turrin, Santina (Sandro) Mariani, Lidia and Tony (Tammy). Cherished nonna of Adrian, Laura, Marco, Carlo, Alessandra, Katherine, Michael and Daniel. Loving great-grandmother to Sofia, Stephanie, Luca and Matteo. Beloved sister to Giovannina, Teresa, Adelia, Lilliana, Anna, Maria, Angelo and their families and sister-in-law to Vittorio, Pierino, Rinaldo, Fiorina, Elvira, Roberto and their families.

Iolanda was born in Supino, Frosinone, Italy and immigrated to Canada with her husband and family in 1956. Iolanda and Cataldo worked hard to provide their four children with a solid foundation in their new country. She will always be remembered as an honest, generous and sincere woman who loved her family above all else.

Visitation at Ward Funeral Home, “Woodbridge Chapel” on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Benedict's Church, 2194 Kipling Ave, Rexdale on Monday, March 11 at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that you donate to a charity of your choice.
