In Loving Memory of Ioannis Karigiannis.
November 11, 1946 – July 4, 2026
With profound sadness and immense love, we announce the passing of our beloved grandfather, Ioannis Karigiannis, who peacefully departed this life on July 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
A devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and treasured friend, he lived a life defined by integrity, humility, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His strength of character, quiet wisdom, and generous heart touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He found joy in life’s simple moments—time spent with family, sharing stories and laughter, offering guidance, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. His love was constant, his support unconditional, and his presence brought comfort and peace to those around him.
He leaves behind a family who adored him and who will forever carry his legacy in their hearts. Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we are deeply grateful for the years, love, and countless memories we were blessed to share with him.
His kindness, resilience, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who knew him. While he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on through the values he instilled, the lives he shaped, and the love he gave so freely.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his remarkable life and pay their final respects at Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 136 Sorauren Ave, Toronto. A burial will follow at Parklawn Cemetery, after which all are welcome to join the family for a reception to remember and honor his life.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
“Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day—unseen, unheard, but always near.”
