Immacolata Concetta Mangano

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday October 18, 2025 at the age of 86. Devoted wife of Francesco of 61 wonderful years. Proud mother of Calogero (Luisa) and Guiseppe (Rosanna). Cherished Nonna of Matthew and Christian.

Born in the small town of Baiano Italy to parents Maria and Giuseppe.

Immacolata caught the eye of a handsome Francesco while visiting in Arbon, Switzerland. The young couple hit it off and eventually married and started a family.

In 1967, Immacolata, Francesco and their young son Calogero made their move to Canada. Here within the GTA, the young couple expanded their family with the arrival of Guiseppe. They worked extremely hard to provide for their family.

Francesco and Immacolata enjoyed watching their favourite Italian programs and being together with their family.

She could be found playing Bingo or cooking for her family.

An impeccably dressed lady she enjoyed shopping for clothes and jewelry.

Religion was an important part of her life and got her through many hurdles in her life. She enjoyed helping at St. Padre Pio which granted her name on a plaque within the church.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday October 24, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Church 5500 Major Mackenzie Dr.,W. Kleinburg. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
