Ida De Luca

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother Ida on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, at the age of 83. She is now reunited with her husband of 63 years, Pietro De Luca. She will be forever cherished, and missed by her dear children Franca Chetti (Joe), Pat De Luca, Gino De Luca (Sonia), Lorie Di Censo (John) and Anna De Cicco (Dario). Proud Nonna to John (Anna), Annalisa (Kevin), Peter, Paul, Melanie, Julia, Mary Ida, and bisnonna to Carmelina, Francesca, Joseph, Michael, and Isabella. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Franca and Estera.

Ida has been reunited with her parents, Eugenio and Vicenza, and siblings, Serafina and Raffaele. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and friends. 

Our mother was the heart of our family, embodying beauty, kindness, love, and unwavering faith. Her family was her world, and she poured her heart into raising her children and helping raise her grandchildren. Being a devoted mother and wife fulfilled her lifelong dream. Her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren, and finding happiness in treasured moments with her loved ones. Her radiant smile and comforting hugs made everyone feel special and cherished. Her words of faith brought comfort and wisdom to all.  She will be greatly missed, and she will remain forever in our hearts.
