It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of our precious Ibolya on Friday January 5, 2024. Dearest wife of the late Walter Triglav. Devoted mother of Lucille Fowler (Scott), Tom, and Stella Cooke (Doug). Cherished grandma of Lauren (Alex), Ryan (Meagan), Brett, Katherine, Joseph, Kristen (Kyle), Carolyn and Michael. Adoring great-grandma of Emma. Ibolya’s greatest priority in life was her family for which she was a source of unwavering love and support. Her joyful spirit, love of life and happy smile touched everyone she met. She had many careers and hobbies which included languages, bookkeeping, gardening, reading, and painting, and her enthusiasm to learn new things continued throughout her lifetime. Ibolya also provided invaluable support to her husband’s consulting engineering company over the years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Our heartfelt thanks to Sunrise of Thornhill for the wonderful support Ibolya received during the last year. Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave W) on Sunday January 14 from 1 to 4 pm. A funeral mass will be held at All Saints Church, 1415 Royal York Road on Monday January 15 at 9:30 a.m.
