Howard Fox

It is with great Sadness and Heavy Hearts that we announce the very sudden passing of Howard George Fox – fondly known to many as Uncle Howard, Uncle Howie or Howitzer. Howard passed suddenly at his home in North York on Wednesday April 19, 2023. One week after an amazing vacation in Punta Cana to celebrate his 80th Birthday.

Howard was never married and had no children of his own but he had many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many close friends that loved him very much and will miss him terribly. Predeceased by his Mom and Dad – Nellie and Harry Fox, Brothers- Frankie, Harry and Ron. Sisters-Thelma, Joan (Ferguson) and Shirley (Nicholson). Howard will be missed terribly by his surviving sisters Irene Hammond and Ruth Wiggelaar.
Howard loved life and made a point of enjoying every single moment. He loved the peace and quiet up at the cottage (The Foxes Den) where he would sit back in his comfy chair with a good book.

Howard loved to travel and he did a great deal of it. Whether it was enjoying the nice hot weather the local people, the culture, food or just chilling on the beach or in the pool drinking a “Dirty Monkey”, “Mojito” or a “Cerveza” with his Sisters, friends, Nieces and Nephews. This is what Howard loved and he treasured every moment of this time.
Howard will be deeply missed more than words can say. We will always love you Howard and you will be forever in our hearts.
