Herbert J Terrelonge, passed away peacefully on February 26th, 2023, at Brampton Civic Hospital.

Herbert, known as Doug and at times Terre, was born on December 1, 1934, in Kingston, Jamaica. He was loved by his brothers, the late Donald and Julian, and late sister Shirley, He was cherished by his brother Luddy, and sisters Cherry, Yvonne, and Sandra. A devoted husband of the late Elaine (Peart) Terrelonge for over 20+ yrs. Herbert leaves behind son Douglas Terrelonge and wife Marinette, and daughter Renee Terrelonge-Crone and husband Keith, as well as his grandchildren: Derrick and Deon Terrelonge, Parris Brooks, Dave, and Kenyon Crone.

Herbert worked for many years as an accountant. Even after retiring he had to keep busy and was employed with Walmart for many years. Along with job activities, he managed to grow an extensive garden, sharing his bounty with all, along with a jerk recipe that neighbors and others enjoyed. Not to mention his volunteer contributions with the Clarendon College Bereavement Association. His smile, green thumb and happy-go-lucky attitude will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Public visitations are welcome on March 2nd & 3rd between 6pm – 9pm. Memorial services will be held on Saturday March 4th, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Ward Funeral Home located 52 Main Street South, Brampton. In Iieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer and/or Cancer Societies would be greatly appreciated.
