Born in Neudorf, Saskatchewan

Helen, as she was known to many, passed away peacefully at the age 96 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Bill. Mother to Linda (John), Glen (Jan). Grandmother to Karen (Einar), Michael (Nikky), Steven and Christopher and great-grandmother to Eyvindur. She will be greatly missed by her brother Al and extended friends and family. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 1:30 pm until the time of service in the chapel at 3 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helena’s name to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
