Peacefully, at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Friday November 16, 2012. Born August, 28, 1928 in Greece, Helen later called Toronto and Florida home. Devoted wife to Alexander for the past 60 years. Loving mother to John (Debbie), Sophie Stoneman (Steve) and Peter (Lori). Cherished YaYa to Alexander (Danae), Adrienne (Sebastian), Monika (Matt), Craig (Erin), Alana, Leah and Danae. Great-YaYa to Ella, Lauren, Mikhayla & Aliyas. Survived by her sisters Anastasia and Toula. Helen fought a valiant battle with Parkinson's disease.
The Family will receive friends at Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Rd, Weston (North of Lawrence Ave.) on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. A funeral service to be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00 am. from St. Elias Greek Orthodox Church (1785 Matheson Blvd., Mississauga). Interment Riverside Cemetery.
