Suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at NORTH YORK GENERAL Hospital at the age of 69. Loving and cherished wife of Bob for 50 wonderful years. Beloved mom of John (Shannon) and Al (Alicia Gerwing). Devoted gramma of Maeve and Daniel. Dear sister of Bob, Pat, Lorne (Brenda), Gary (Lynda) and sister in law of David (Anita) and Genevieve. Helen will be forever loved by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. A heartfelt thank you for the Drs and staff at the North York Hospital Cancer Unit & ICU for their exceptional care and compassion of Helen. As expressions of sympathy, donations to North York General Hospital Cancer Unit would be greatly appreciated.
