It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Helder Marques, who passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 62, at Humber River Hospital.  Helder was a gentle, quiet, and respectful soul who touched the lives of those around him with his calm presence and kind heart. He will be remembered with great love by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.He leaves behind his loving sister Natalie his brother-in-law Mike his nephew Nathan and his niece Emma, who will all cherish his memory forever.  He was the beloved son of Francisco Marques and Leontina Marques, now reunited with them in Heaven.  Helder had a deep passion for drawing and could spend countless hours doing what he loved most. His artwork was a reflection of his gentle nature, his quiet spirit, and the beautiful inner world he carried within him. He also loved going for walks to Tim Hortons and spending time in nature, and listening to music. Some of his favorite artists included Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rush and Pink Floyd. Although he is no longer with us, Helder’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family forever.  We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.  He will be greatly missed.
