Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 5, 2012 in her 98th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Alex, parents Walter and Henrietta, siblings Albert, Jessie, Bruce and Joyce, and great-granddaughter Jennifer. Dearly missed by children Joan (Don Petican) Burnett, Shirley (George) MacNeil, Ronald (Marissa), Donald and Maryanne (Dan) Annis. Beloved grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Weston on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 7-9p.m. Service will be held on Monday at 11a.m. in the chapel.
