Harry Laudenbach

Harry passed away peacefully in his 72nd year, surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved father of Steve (Jessica). Proud grandfather to Travis. Loving companion of Anu. Cherished brother of Gerd (Violet) & Dianna (Kevin). Dear uncle of Sarah, Conor & Erin.

He was an excellent cook, who enjoyed teaching his son how to make traditional German stews. A true foodie, always enjoying learning and diversifying his palate. He knew so much about fine wines, a natural born connoisseur. Harry was most happy when sharing a table with friends and family, spending time in the trailer up north, and spoiling his grandson.

He took great pride in his work, he began his career with the Ministry of Health & Long Term Care as a 911 Ambulance Dispatcher, and over several years worked in various roles. He retired as an Ontario Field Manager. His family and friends will remember him for his kindness, generosity of spirit and sense of fun. Harry often put the needs of others ahead of his own.

The family wishes to thank the Toronto General Hospital for the excellent care Harry received in 2007 when he received a heart transplant. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toronto General Hospital.
