41 year Veteran of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Department and retired with the rank of Sergeant.

Peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on January 19, 2013 in his 86thyear. Predeceased by his beloved wife Myra and son Scott Thomas. Survived by his children Kelly and Cole and his wife Marisa. Loving grandfather of Laurie and Scott and his wife Sharlene. Devoted great grandfather of Alice. Bob will be greatly missed and remembered by Ray Hurd, sister Ruth Everdell, sister in-law Maureen Perry and by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitors will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road, Toronto on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at 9:30am. Cremation is to follow at Riverside Crematorium.
