H. Gordon Grisdale

Hubert Gordon Grisdale PEng 1920 �" 2009,

Passed away suddenly at home on Sunday May 31, 2009. Gordon will be greatly missed by his wife, Phyllis (nee. Brett) of 64+ years, sister Marilyn of St Catharines, sons Barry (Jan) of Uxbridge and Brad (Helen) of England and daughter Carolyn of Toronto. He will also be missed by, grandchildren Kristy, Joshua, Jamie (Ruby), Elizabeth, Kearn, Roland and Francesca and by great grandchildren Dylan and Myles. Gordon served in the R.C.E.M.E during World War II and then had a long career with Orenda Engines in Malton, where he worked on the Iroquois engines for the Avro Arrow. Cremation has already occurred. A reception / visitation was held at the Canadian Legion, Coronation Branch, 11 Irwin st. Rexdale, on Monday June 8th at 2:00pm.
