In Loving Memory of Guiomar Costa

Born: August 2, 1937

With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Guiomar Costa, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and faithful servant of God, who passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the age of 87.

Guiomar was the cherished mother of Antonio Costa (Maria) and Joe Costa (Lucy), the proud grandmother of Melina and Bernadette and adored aunt of Filomena Salgadinho (Carlos), Irene Flor and the late Mario Perriea (Odette).

Guiomar lived a life rooted in her Catholic faith. Her commitment to the Church was central to her daily life. She found comfort and purpose in her prayers, her parish, and in God. Whether it was through quiet acts of charity or offering heartfelt prayers for those in need, she lived her faith each day with quiet dignity.

She leaves behind a family who adored her and will carry her memory forward with gratitude and love. Though she has departed this world, she will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation viewing will be held to celebrate her life and faith on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will follow on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Brampton.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Alzheimer Society of Peel in memory of Guiomar Costa.

May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before, and held in the gentle embrace of the Lord to whom she so faithfully served.
