It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Graziano Storto, who passed away after a long and courageous battle on August 19, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on January 27, 1938, in Francavilla al Mare, Chieti, Italy, Graziano was the beloved son of Antonio and Anna Storto. He later immigrated to Canada, where he built a life filled with love, hard work, and cherished memories. Graziano was the devoted husband of Maria Storto, with whom he shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a strong and loving family that was always at the center of his heart. He was the proud father of Anna (Michael) and Carlo (Claudia), and the adoring grandfather of Anthony (Jennifer), Christopher, Stephanie (Jordan), Jessica (Patrick), and Briana (Luca). He will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and humble man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Graziano’s greatest joy was his family, and his legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on through them. He will also be deeply missed by his many friends, who cherished his warmth and friendship. Graziano’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Private interment to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Vaughan would be appreciated.
