Goffredo Martire

November 25, 1927 - May 16, 2025

God peacefully called Goffredo home on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 97, surrounded by the love of his family.

Beloved husband of Antonietta (nee Perrone) of 73 years, he is reunited with his parents Viatore and Teresina and siblings Gigino (Mariella), Delfina (Francesco), and Francesco (Maria). Cherished by his children Teresa (Sandro), Santro (Laura), and Frank. Proudly called nonno by Ida and Michael, Stefanie (Andrew), Victoria (Jordan), and Johnny (Marella). Proud great-grandfather to Natalia and Enzo. 

His memory will remain a lasting comfort and strength to all who knew and loved him including his nieces and nephews here in Canada, Italy and Australia.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
