Giuseppina Campisi

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday August 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Devoted wife of the late Francesco. Proud mother of Nella (John) and Nick (Rosie). Cherished Nonna of Andrew (Amanda), Adam, Julia and Francesco. Giuseppina leaves behind 13 nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends.

Giuseppina has been reunited with the love of her life Francesco, her dear parents and her siblings Joe, Angelo and Tanina.

Born in Roccapalumba, Palermo, Sicily Italy to loving parents Rosalie and Vincenzo.

Giuseppina came to Canada with her cousin through pier 21in Halifax.

Francesco met Giuseppina through mutual friends. Married shortly there after and started their family. The couple worked hard to build a life for themselves.

They loved to travel back home to visit family and friends. After retirement the Caribbeans hot sandy beaches became their winter vacation hotspot.

Giuseppina enjoyed opera music and singing.

Her family meant the world to her. Her kitchen would be filled with the aromas of her cooking and baking with the anticipation of having her family home for dinner.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday August 29, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church 8500 Islington Ave., Woodbridge (just south of Langstaff Rd.) Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
