Mr. Giuseppe Venneri
September 24, 1944 - June 8, 2023

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Giuseppe Venneri on June 8, 2023 at the age of 78. Giuseppe is predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Maria Venneri. He is survived by his wife, Maria, of 52 years, and their two children Tony Venneri, his wife Tracy Coates and their daughter Paige Venneri; and Rita Venneri, her husband Kevin Moonlight and their daughter Emily Moonlight. He also leaves behind his brother Francesco Venneri (Arleen) and sisters Nella Fera and Anna Venneri, along with his sister/brother in-laws, many nieces and nephews, friends and relatives.

Giuseppe was born in Cellara, Italy and immigrated to Canada as a young teenager in 1959. He developed a love of gardening, nature, fine liquours, family and fast cars. He started his career out as an auto mechanic and worked himself up to becoming a Service Department Manager at a GM dealership, where he retired. He will be remembered for his willingness to always help out a friend or family member whenever he was asked, for his ability to make up his own words and phrases for random things and for always trying to encourage others to become the best version of themselves.

Giuseppe's memory will be cherished with love and gratitude in those who were fortunate to have had him in their lives.

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Monday, June 12th from 11:30 am until the service time at 1:00 pm.

Following the service, all guests are welcome to share stories and memories in the Reception Room at Ward Funeral Home.
