Born in S.Nicola da Crissa, Catanzaro, Italy on May 11, 1935.
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2014, just shy of his 79th birthday. Reunited with his beloved wife, Maddalena. Loving Daddy to Cathy and her husband Tony Bruno, Mary and her husband Ross Dingwell, Silvana and her husband Joe Delmedico, Olga and her husband Charlie Gurrieri, and Domenic and his wife Franca. Cherished Nonno to Anthony and Stephanie, Nastasia, Stefan, Joseph, Melissa, Maddaline and Mikayla. Dear brother of Rosa, Teresa, Sara, Tony, Mike, Nicola and the late Marianna and Vittoria. Affectionately known as “Peppino”, he will be sadly missed by all his extended family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Monday, from 6-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Church, 100 Bainbridge Ave, Woodbridge, on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
