Passed away, after a short illness, at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, with his loving family by his side. Giuseppe was born in Termini Imerese, Sicily, on April 22, 1932. Beloved husband of the late Antonina(nee Balsamo). Proud father of Vince (Lucy), Sam (Marsha), and John. Proud nonno of Corey, Alexandra, Ashley, Joseph, Erica, Amanda and Arianna. Dear brother to Rosa, the late Salvatore (Zina), Pina, Agostino (Giuseppina), Nino (Maria), Titi (Gino), Mariella, Rita (Gianni), Ignazio (Antonietta), and brother-in-law to Marie (Joe), Anna (Joe), and Nancy (Jim). Giuseppe will be greatly missed by all his nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Thursday, from 2-4pm & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 100 Bainbridge Ave.,Woodbridge, on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 9:30am. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
