Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age of 83.

Devoted husband of the late Rita. Proud father of Franco (Anna), Daniela, Rugero (Graziella), Roberto (Daniela) and Rossana. Cherished Nonno of Matthew, Giuseppe (Monica), Corrado (Alexandra), Jessica (Ali), Giancarlo (Selena), Rea Rita, Alessandro and Adriano. Loving Great Grandfather of Stella and Seva. Giuseppe will be forever remembered by his many family and friends.

Giuseppe was born and raised in the small town of Figline Vegliaturo, Cosenza Italy.
As a young man, Giuseppe dreamed of a better life and in 1956 he made his way to Canada.
It was here that he met a beautiful young woman named Rita.
They courted for a while and married in 1964.
Together they raised their five children.
Giuseppe worked hard to provide for his family.

Giuseppe was a quiet man who loved spending time with his family and enjoyed watching soccer.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Saturday from 2-5 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Monday May 29, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church 300 Ansley Grove Rd., Woodbridge. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
