Giupseppe Altomare
Giuseppe (Peppe) Altomare passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026, at Hennick Humber River Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of Adua for 67 years, Peppe will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Rosa (Carl) and Frank (Denise), and by his grandchildren, Adam and Michael. He was predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Rosina, and his brothers, Silvio and Antonio, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He leaves behind his cherished siblings, Gina, Maria, Umberto, and Anna, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends who are blessed to have known him and who will carry his memory forward with love.
Peppe was a man of remarkable strength, generosity, and kindness. He found great joy in helping others, whether through a helping hand, wise advice, or the abundant fruits and vegetables from his garden. His door was always open, his heart was always generous, and he was never happier than when he was giving to those around him.
His children and grandchildren were the pride of his life. He delighted in sharing stories of his childhood, his journey, and the many experiences that shaped the rich and meaningful life he lived. Through these stories, he passed on not only memories but also values of hard work, humility, and resilience.
Now at peace, Peppe tends his eternal garden, reunited with those who have gone before him. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
