Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday August 21, 2016 at the age of 89. Devoted husband of the late Rachele (July 15, 2016) of 59 wonderful years. Proud father of Sue (Dino Scarcello), Gaetano (Franca) and Leo (Josie). Cherished Nonno of Eugenio, Claudio, Anthony, Giancarlo, Stefanie (Emilio Nigro), Gianluca, Daniel and Dante. Adopted Grandfather to Luca, Stefano and Massimo. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. Giovanni has joined his parents and siblings. Reunited with his beloved wife Rachele.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Monday from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church 100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge on Wednesday August 24th, 2016 at 9:30 am.
