Suddenly passed away on November 17, 2016 at the age of 96. He has now reunited with his dear wife Carmela and daughter Raffaela. Loving father of son Rosario, daughter-in-law Jennifer, daughter Maria and son-in-law Edward. Nonno of Enrico, Pia, Christina, Gaetano, Joseph, Victor, Daniel and John. Great-grandfather of Nicholas, Christian, Mya and Zara. Giovanni will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and compassion for others. He will be sincerely missed and always remembered by his family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 9:30a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
