Surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at the Brampton Civic Hospital, two weeks shy of his 74th birthday. Loving and devoted husband of Maria for 51 years. Loving father of Angela and Mark Lackowicz, and John and Mahzulfah. Cherished nonno of Andrea, Nadia, Stephen, Zain and Zaara. Predeceased by his parents, Giuseppina and Eugenio Mazzuca. Dear brother to Michele (Marcella), Francesco (Iolanda), Salvatore (Rina), Antonio (Anna), Mario ( Vittoria), Agostino ( Ida), Carmela (the late Emilio Palermo), Marietta (Vincenzo De Paola), and Adelina (Eugenio Ferraro). Giovanni will be fondly remembered by his in-laws, Angela Cramarossa (the late Giuseppe), sister-in-law, Bridget (Bruno Natale), brother-in-law, Vito Cramarossa (the late Sandra), many nieces and nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (just west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Wednesday, from 6-9pm and on Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 100 Bainbridge Ave, Woodbridge on Friday, May 7th, 2010 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family
