Mazzanti, Giovanni – peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 24th, 2014. Beloved husband of Tatiana for 54 wonderful years. Loving father of Giancarlo (Joanne). Cherished Nonno of Gianluca, Christian, Andrew and Matthew. Dear brother of Elsa, Maria and predeceased by Enzo, Tino, Otello, Laura and Livia. Giovanni will be deeply missed by all his extended family and friends, here and abroad. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, Etobicoke on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
