Giovanni Calabrò

Giovanni Calabrò passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at the age of 71, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born on May 27, 1954, in Delia, Sicily, Italy, to Calogero and Calogera Calabrò, and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1965.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosanna; his children, Lina, Calogero, and Carmela; his sons-in-law, Nick and Attilio; and his cherished granddaughter, Valentina, who brought him immense joy. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings, extended family, and many dear friends.

Giovanni will be lovingly remembered for his quiet kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. He touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity, leaving behind memories that will be cherished always.

He will be forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Mass in Giovanni’s honour will be held at St. Marguerite d’Youville Parish in Brampton on Saturday, March 28, at 11:00 a.m.
