GIOVANNA CASARELLA In loving memory of a wonderful wife, mother and nonna. Giovanna passed peacefully into the arms of God on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Giuseppe (1992). Lovingly remembered by her children Micheal, Diane, Angelo and Tanina. Remembered by her four granddaughters, Jenny(Ali), Michelle(Jess), Joanne(JC) and Mariangela. Loving sister to Maria, Tanuccia, Giuseppe, Antonietta and Carmine. Giovanna was always known for her generosity, her sweetness, her deep love for her family and her devotion to her faith.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Dr., Etobicoke on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
