After a short illness, on Thursday, March 17th, 2011 at the Wm Osler Health Centre - Etobicoke, Gerd passed away peacefully, in his 92nd year, with his son Harry and daughter-in-law, Cindy by his side. Survived by his sons, Freddy, Thomas and Harry. Cherished “Opa” of Mark and Robert.
Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Drive) 905-851-9100 on Sunday, from 2-4pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11am in the Chapel. Cremation. In Gerd’s memory, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
