In her 98th year, peacefully at home on March 9, 2012, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by husband Antonio. Loving mother of Cesidio “Joseph”, and the late Nazzareno (the late Marion). Beloved sister of Amalia, Donata, Carmelo, and Carmine Cellucci. Cherished “Nanny” of Geraldine (Kelly) Abraham, Steven (Bruna), Edward, Michael (Georgina), Ann, Melanie (Matthew) Kaskel, Amanda and the late Laura. Dear “Great Nanny” of Jessica, Melissa, Joshua, Spencer, Anthony, Corena, and Riley. Gerarda will be deeply missed by all her family and friends here and in Italy. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Sunday March 11, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 100 Bainbridge Avenue Woodbridge at 9:30 am on Monday March 12, 2012. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
