Geralyn Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geralyn Sylvanie Smith on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 60. Geralyn was born on November 15, 1964, in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda.

Geralyn was married to Lawrence Gregiore, the love of her life and beloved husband. She was known for her strong will, intelligence, personality, and love for her mother, niece, and nephew. Although Geralyn had no children, she was a godmother, auntie, caregiver and mentor to the children of many of her friends.

Geralyn is survived by her husband, Lawrence Gregiore; her mother, Sylvanie Warren; her brother, John Smith; her nephew, Jaden Griffith Smith; and her niece, Talitha Smith, whose lives were greatly enriched by Geralyn’s presence. Her departure leaves an unfilled void in our lives, yet we find comfort in the memories and everlasting love she shared.

Services will be held at Ward Funeral Home on Saturday, May 17, at 10:30 am; visitation will be available at 9:30 am. A celebration of Geralyn’s Life will be held Sunday May 18th at 2:00 to 7:00 pm at JP Grill and Bar located at 286 Attwell Drive, Etobicoke.
