Georgiana Muir

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Georgiana (Jean) Elizabeth Muir, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 84, surrounded by family and friends.

Born in St. Catherine’s, Jamaica, on September 14, 1941, Jean was the cherished wife of Sebert for over 60 years. She was a loving and supportive mother to Michelle, Rosalyn and Shirley, and mother-in-law to Kevin; an adored sister to Joseph and William; and a grandmother to Cory, Andre, Jaleel, Diahann, Denise, Anessa and Naeemah, as well as many beloved great-grandchildren.

Jean was known for her warm and welcoming nature, generosity and kindness. She was intuitive and compassionate, always taking the time to listen and offer sound advice. She loved spending time with family and friends, enjoying good food, doing word searches, dancing, thrift shopping and going on cruises.

Her presence brought comfort and joy to everyone who met her. She will forever remain in our hearts.
