Georgiana Muir

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Georgiana (Jean) Elizabeth Muir, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 84, surrounded by family and friends.

Born in St Catherine’s Jamaica on September 14, 1941, Jean was the cherished wife of Sebert for over 60 years. Loving and supportive mother to Shirley, Michelle and Rosalyn. Adored sister to Joseph and William. Grandmother to Diahann, Denise, Anessa and Naeemah.

Jean was known for her warm and welcoming nature, her generosity and kindness. She was an intuitive and compassionate person who took the time to listen and offered sound advice. She loved spending time with family and friends, eating good food, doing word searches, dancing, thrift shopping, and going on cruises.

Her presence brought comfort and joy to everyone who met her. She is forever in our hearts.
