George Corona
George left us on June 7, 2023 to join the love of his life-Claudette. They were a team in life and are now reunited for eternity.
He was a loving husband for over 60 years and a wonderful father to his two daughters Janine (Pat Mastrogiacomo) and Carla Furfaro (Joe), loving grandfather to Melissa Zervos (Peter) and Elise Furfaro (Jimmy Elamad) and a very special Big Nonno to Perry, Niko, Luca, Lennon and Loreto.
His big heart and sparkling blue eyes will be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting him.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all the staff at Sunset Manor who allowed him to enjoy his final days with comfort and dignity. The staff shared with us many stories reflecting his quick wit and endearing personality. He was very loved.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Sunset Manor “bus fund” would be greatly appreciated.
