George Alevizos

George Alevizos passed away peacefully on June 30th, 2023. Loving father-in-law to Paola, adored Pappou to Crisann (Jon) and George, and favourite great-grandfather to Constance. He is predeceased by his wife Chrysoula and son Gus.

George loved spending time with his family and taking them out for “well-priced” meals. He enjoyed traveling back to Greece each summer to spend time with his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He loved eating fish, peanuts, 6-piece ribs, and napping on the beach. He adored playing with his great-granddaughter, and always had a smile on his face when spending time with his loved ones.

George will be forever missed and always remembered while Greek dancing, eating grilled calamari, or enjoying charcoal barbeques.

The family would like to extend their thanks to George’s leukemia team at Princess Margret Hospital. With their help, the family was able to enjoy the extended time with him.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Princess Margaret Hospital in George Alevizos' memory.
