GENOVEFFA LONGO It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Genoveffa Longo (nee Sirangelo) in her 97th year. Cherished and loved by her late husband Luigi and children Marisa (Fausto), Alfonso (Vittoria), Anthony and Giulia (Osvaldo). Loving grandmother to Rosa, Simonetta, Jenny, Cathy, Elisa, Delia and Nellina. Great-grandmother to Isabella, Malcolm and Serena. She will be lovingly missed by her family, friends and neighbours here and in Italy. Our thanks to many for their enduring help and thoughts. Genoveffa touched many and will always be remembered for her kind and gentle manner. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.), on Monday from 6-9 p.m and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at St. Roch's Church (2889 Islington Avenue, Toronto) at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
