LEWIS, Garth Archibald Robert

With his family by his side, Garth passed peacefully on Tuesday January 26th, 2016 at Humber River Hospital at the age of 89. Loving brother of Nesta Burgess, Chrystal Little and the late Myles Lewis. Loving Uncle of Gail (Ron), Garry (Denise), Kim (Rick), Ian, Carolyn (Craig), Bruce (Carolyn), Doug (Drew), Mark (Libby), Richard (Kristy), Terry (Linda). Great Uncle to many more nieces and nephews.
Garth spent his youth in British Guiana and Trinidad, before immigrating to Canada in 1954 where he was employed by Robin Hood Multifoods in both Montreal and Toronto until his retirement. A memorial service and celebration of Garth’s Life will be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 3962 Bloor St. W. (at Shaver), Etobicoke, on Saturday February 6th at 11 am. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10 am. Reception and internment to follow. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario SPCA or to St. Matthews Anglican Church would be appreciated.
