Garfield Thomas French, 1948 – 2016
The family is sad to announce the passing of Gary French on January 24, 2016. Gary is pre-deceased by his brother, Michael (1990) and mother, Rose (2008). He is survived by his father, Thomas French, sister, Bonnie (Wayne) McNeely, and loving niece and nephew, Kelly (Bob) Amos, and Matthew (Shonali) McNeely. Gary was a strong advocate for the handicapped and seniors, founding “Wheelchair Mobile Services” in 1974. He did many things in his life but his true, constant was his love of Tennis.
As well as his extended family, Gary will be missed by his tennis partners at 4005 Bayview Avenue and his many friends. As per Gary’s wishes there will be no funeral service and if desired a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
