It is with heartbreaking sorrow that the family of Gaetano (Guy) Iannucci announces the passing of a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Guy went to his Heavenly Father peacefully on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013. Guy was predeceased by his parents, Domenico Iannucci and Restituta Tersigni. Guy leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Helena, his sons Anthony (wife Diane) of North Bay and Guy (wife Frieda) of Hamilton. He also leaves his affectionate granddaughters Vanessa of North Bay, and Yolanda of Rosetown, Sask. Also left to mourn his passing is his beloved Sister Yolanda (husband Arrigo) of Downsview.
He was a past employee of the Province of Ontario Public Works and Northern College. He owned and operated a mechanical and electrical business and was a consultant for James Bay General Hospital and Fort Albany First Nation. Guy was a highly respected man, whose abundant understanding, thoughtfulness, generosity, and kindness were his hallmarks.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (Just North of Lawrence Ave W.) Weston, on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Philip Neri Church, 2100 Jane Street on Tuesday September 3rd, 2013 at 10 am followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Holy Name of Jesus Memorial Fund of Kirkland Lake, Ontario or to a charity of your choice.
A memorial service for Guy will be held in Kirkland Lake at a later date.
