Frederick Duffey

It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our Father Fred Duffey. Dad passed on January 23rd, 2016 at Mississauga’s Trillium Hospital with family at his side. Born in 1934 in England, Dad was 81. Father to Janet (Ronnie) Wright and Peter (Patty) Duffey, Grandfather to Shannon and Colin Wright. A small private service was held at Ward Funeral Home on January 26th to celebrate his life. Respecting Dad’s wishes, it was attended only by close family and a few of his closest friends.

Heartfelt thanks to those who really made a difference in Dad’s life. Along with Family, his neighbours Chad and Catriona and Dad’s personal hero, Dr. Thomas Rebane who helped Dad beat the odds for 30 years. Also, thank you to the staff of Mississauga’s Trillium Hospital where Dad received ongoing going care for 3 decades.
