Françoise Rand

RAND, Françoise (née Cardinal) 1927-2013:

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on March 17th after a courageous battle with cancer. Françoise was a Life Master and a respected instructor of bridge. Predeceased by her husband Victor in 1989. A kind and loving soul, she will be greatly missed by her children Peter, Jude (Richard), Ron (Carol) and Rick. The youngest of nine children, she is survived by her sister Marie, grandchildren Michael, Kyo, Alanna, Michel and Chelsea, great-grandchildren Rylan, Quinn and Reid, godchildren Anne and Richard, and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregivers, especially Kelly (Red Cross) and the nurses and other angels at Ian Anderson House, whose tender loving care was a blessing in her final weeks. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 21st, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds St., Oakville, a reception will follow at Françoise’s home.
