Frank passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital with his loving wife of 45 years, Terry by his side on Tuesday December 11th, 2018 at the age of 85. Loving step-dad to Karen Adderson (Ken) and Andrew Hamilton (Lynn). Doting Grandpa to Joanne and Neil Hamilton, and Bumpa to Katie Adderson. Father to Steven, Mike and Rob. Dear brother to John (Lolly) Wood and George (Diane, deceased) Wood. Frank will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. A Toronto Police Officer for 33 years he was admired by his colleagues for his reliability and steadfastness. He enjoyed competitive golf, darts and 10 pin bowling, and most of all sharing those many good times with family and friends. Not a big fan of winter but with Terry in full agreement they managed to get away more than a few times to the Carolinas. He charmed us all. One of the best. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Frank’s life will be held at in the chapel on Friday at3 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
